Chico Cabaret Auditions
How to Prepare for a Musical Audition At Chico Cabaret:
For all Chico Cabaret musicals, please prepare a song that best represents your singing range and ability. If you can, try to choose a song in a similar style of the musical you are auditioning for. Please bring sheet music for our piano accompanist (no CDs, Karaoke or A-Capella please). Dress comfortably with clothes and shoes you can move and dance in. No other preparation is needed. You will be taught musical steps and asked to read from the script. If you have any additional questions, please call us. If you cannot make it to the audition, please call us prior to the audition dates to make alternative arrangements at 895-0245.

What is Burlesque? Is It Stripping?
Burlesque dance and stripping share roots. Burlesque is the grandmother of the modern strip show, but that's where the similarities end. Burlesque is much less interested in the "strip" and much more interested in the "tease". NO nudity required!
